- Senior Managing Director Stormy Byorum co-founded VB&P in 1996 and played a key role in growing that firm into the leading independent investment bank with an Hispanic and Latin American focus. Over a seven year period, VB&P completed over $14 billion of M&A advisory assignments and raised over $1.2 billion of debt and equity capital for clients.
- In early 2003, the Cori Team became independent and was principally engaged as sub-advisors to TCW/Latin America Private Equity L.P., a $236 million private equity portfolio which was experiencing difficult financial pressures. The Team was successful in refinancing and restructuring much of that portfolio.
- Cori Capital Partners was the successor company of a wholly-owned subsidiary of Violy, Byorum & Partners, LLC ("VB&P").
- Now, as the leader of Stephens Cori Capital Advisors senior management team Ms. Byorum harvests opportunities in the US Hispanic and Latin American theatres, both as agent and principal, for Stephens Inc. and its clients. The group engages in the following services:
- US and Latin American mergers and acquisitions
- Agented financings for US Hispanic and Latin American enterprises.
- Entrepreneur and family-owned company advisory
- Private Equity Advisory, Fund Management, and Secondary Market Analytics for entities interested in buying Limited Partnership pieces at discounted prices.
