Mr. Smith is a Senior Vice President and leads
Stephens Information Technology and Services Group. He
co-founded Stephens Financial Sponsors Group in 2008 and managed
relationships with numerous private equity firms. While at
Stephens, he has provided mergers and acquisitions and public and
private capital raising advisory services to clients across various
industries, including information technology and services, consumer
services and healthcare services. Prior to joining Stephens
in 2006, he was an Associate at Houlihan Lokey, where he
provided mergers and acquisitions and private capital raising
advisory services. Previously, he was a Manager with Deloitte
& Touche LLP, where he specialized in tax advisory
services. Mr. Smith received his BBA in accounting and
MPA with a concentration in tax in 1996 as well as his MBA in 2003
from the McCombs School of Business at the University of
Texas. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst Charterholder
and a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
