Keith Behrens, Ron Montalbano and Brad Nelson joined Stephens Inc. from Energy Capital Solutions in May 2009 to work on oil and gas deals.  Since joining the firm, the team has provided fairness opinions for Abraxas Petroleum’s merger of Abraxas Energy Parnters and Hicks Acquisition Co.’s proposed acquisition of Resolute Natural Resources.  The team also advised Black Elk Energy on its $40 million private equity raise from Platinum Partners Value Arbitrage Fund.
