Mr. Butler joined Stephens Insurance in
2009 as Senior Vice-President, providing Risk Management, Safety
and Industrial Hygiene services for our clients. He previously
served clients’ needs in Risk Management, Safety, and Loss Control
for a national insurance carrier. Mr. Butler also brings
10-plus years of providing internal safety and loss control at a
Fortune 500 company (telecommunications, information technology,
cable). His expertise with loss-sensitive programs is varied,
having provided onsite inspections, program evaluations, air and
noise sampling, ergonomics and written programs, including disaster
recovery, still used by both clients and former employers. He
has been instrumental in establishing claims management and loss
control procedures in many acquisitions. Mr. Butler is a
graduate of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with a
bachelor's degree in bacteriology and has attended the University
of Michigan’s ergonomic programs as an Industrial Hygienist. He is
a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and a Certified Safety
Professional (CSP).
