Managing Director - Atlanta Office
Mr. Ellis joined Stephens in 2007 as a
Managing Director in the Capital Markets Group which oversees both
public and private capital raises for Stephens' clients. Most
recently, Mr. Ellis was a Co-founder of ELM Capital, an investment
bank focused on private placements and M&A transactions.
Previously Mr. Ellis worked in the Private Placements Group at RBC
Capital Markets and its predecessor firm Dain, Rauscher, Wessels
and began his investment banking career at Morgan Keegan where he
worked in the Private Placements and Energy Groups. Prior to
attending graduate school, Mr. Ellis also served three years as the
head speech writer for a U.S. Senator. Mr. Ellis earned an MBA from
The Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of
Virginia, a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law and a
BA from Birmingham-Southern College.
