Mr. Fischer joined
Stephens in 2009, bringing with him more than 25 years of banking
experience working with North Carolina municipal issuers. Since
2000, he has participated as banker or financial advisor
on more than 75 transactions throughout the Carolinas and
Georgia with a par amount of approximately $5 billion. Relevant
experience includes senior-managed General Obligation Bonds,
Certificates of Participation, Utility Revenue Bonds, Higher
Education Revenue Bonds and VRDBs. Senior managed clients include,
among others, the cities of Atlanta, Durham; Raleigh;
Winston-Salem; Columbia, SC; and Augusta, Ga.; as well as the State
of North Carolina, the State of Georgia and the South Carolina
State Transportation Infrastructure Bank.
Prior to joining Stephens,
Mr. Fischer was a Director at Wachovia Securities and a Managing
Director at BB&T Capital Markets. He is a graduate of
Washington and Lee University and is a registered Municipal
Securities Principal and a registered Uniform State Law
Securities Agent.
