Mr. McCarthy joined the Public Finance
Department in August, 2009. Prior to joining Stephens,
he spent 23 years with the Mississippi Development Authority,
serving the last four years as the Director of the Financial
Resources Division. Mr. McCarthy has an extensive
knowledge of Mississippi's economic development finance programs
and tax incentives and has worked closely with state and local
government officials. He has a B.B.A. in Banking and Finance
from the University of Mississippi and is also a graduate of the
Economic Development Institute. Mr. McCarthy is a member
of the Mississippi Economic Development Council. He is a
registered Municipal Securities Representative and a registered
Uniform State Law Securities Agent.
