Vice President - Dallas Office
Mr. Rivera joined Stephens in 2010. Mr. Rivera has over 17 years
experience in finance and government. Prior to joining Stephens, he
served as Vice President for a development company and a marketing
officer for Bank One, Texas. In addition, Mr. Rivera is currently a
City of Arlington City Council Member, and has participated in
dozens of bond deals for the City representing every credit type
totaling over $750 million dollars in par. Mr. Rivera’s background
in government, finance and budgeting has shaped his philosophy and
approach to public finance. His focus is to find ways to help
public finance clients perform their jobs better and be more
productive. In addition, to his role at Stephens and his elected
office, Mr. Rivera is heavily involved in civic and charitable
endeavors at the national level. Mr. Rivera has a Bachelor of Arts
in Political Science from the University of Texas at
Arlington.
