Ashley Younger joined Stephens Insurance as a claims attorney.  She is also a claims specialist for Center Street Risk Services, Stephens’ in-house third-party administrator.  Younger assists Center Street’s risk management team by providing claim management and advocacy services concerning medical malpractice claims.

Younger earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the University of Arkansas in 2007 and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 2010, where she graduated cum laude. Younger was the Articles Editor for the Arkansas Law Review, a member of the National Championship Team at the Sixtieth Annual National Moot Court Competition, and a recipient of the University of Arkansas’ Appellate Advocacy Award. 

Younger began her career as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Richard D. Taylor in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas.  At the conclusion of her clerkship, Younger joined the insurance regulatory and governmental affairs practice group at Mitchell, Williams, Selig, Gates & Woodyard, P.L.L.C.  She also worked as an appellate attorney for the Arkansas Attorney General’s Office as an Assistant Attorney General in the Criminal Division.  Before joining Stephens Insurance, Younger served as the Executive Director of Central Arkansas Rescue Effort for Animals, Inc., a nonprofit organization. 

Younger currently serves on the Arkansas Ethics Commission and is active in the community.  She has served on committees and as the event chair for charities including the Arkansas Lighthouse for the Blind, the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and the United Way.  She is also an active member of the Arkansas Tennis Association and the United States Tennis Association.
