John Gilson

John Gilson joined Stephens Insurance in 2019 and currently serves as an Account Manager to support the expansion of the Houston office. He manages a diverse group of accounts ranging from small to large commercial, specifically in the energy space, as well as prepares insurance programs and implements changes and endorsements for each policy period.

Gilson brings over ten years of experience in the insurance industry and has a background in sales and service in both direct and independent agencies.

Gilson earned a BS in Education from Abilene Christian University and taught in public education for six years before transitioning to insurance. He holds his General Insurance License in Property & Casualty and Life & Health. He has designations as an Associate in General Insurance (AINS), Associate Risk Management (ARM), and Accredited Customer Service Representative (ACSR).
