Senior Vice President, Commercial P&C Account Executive
Julie Radford joined Stephens Insurance in 2024 as a Senior Vice President and Account Executive/Risk Manager in the Property & Casualty division. In this role, she designs master programs at the Fund level and advises portfolio companies on risk management and risk transfer strategies that align with their risk tolerance. She also leads a team to enhance processes and tools to ensure consistency across the company, while maintaining strong relationships with insurance carriers, brokers, and clients and providing service and support, including contractual review, coverage analysis, and negotiating and placing coverage.
Radford brings over 20 years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance and risk management. Prior to Stephens, she served as Assistant Vice President and Senior Risk Manager at a global heavy manufacturing conglomerate and oversaw the company's internal and external risk mitigation strategies. Before that, she spent over 12 years on the brokerage side developing and placing comprehensive risk management programs across various industries.
Radford holds an MS in Risk Management & Insurance from Florida State University, where she was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma International Business Honor Society. She also earned a BS in Marketing from The University of Alabama and holds several professional designations, including Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS), and Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR).
