Nic Romero joined Stephens Insurance in 2024 as a Vice President within the Executive Risk team in the Houston office's Property & Casualty division. He specializes in client advisory for large private and public accounts in the global risk management space. His principal functions are designing, brokering, and servicing a full range of financial line products, including directors and officers, employment practices, fiduciary liability, crime and errors and omissions. He works with organizations in various industry segments, including energy, utilities, financial institutions, private equity, real estate, and retail.
Romero is experienced in helping his clients explore traditional risk product solutions to protect the directors and officers and their organizations. Prior to Stephens, he worked as an Advisory Specialist in a Financial & Professional (FINPRO) practice for a large broking and risk management firm. He also spent nearly 10 years working within the finance and corporate planning departments for another large brokerage firm and an oil field service company.
Romero earned an MBA, with a concentration in Finance, from Louisiana State University and a BBA in Finance from the University of Houston.
