We are committed to corporate philanthropy; economic and financial literacy advocacy; and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
Stephens is proud to sponsor the PGA TOUR, LPGA Tour, and PGA TOUR Champions careers, as well as applaud the philanthropic endeavors, of our Brand Ambassadors.

Jim joined Stephens Private Client Group in 2003 and has more than 30 years in the industry. He now works in partnership with his son, Zach. “I have spent over 30 years consulting with clients about a myriad of financial goals, such as paying for education, saving for retirement, and wealth transfer. Working with Zach has been the highlight of my career as it has allowed us to take a more comprehensive approach to wealth management planning, where we can assess immediate needs while taking the long-term into account for future generations,” says Jim.
Prior to joining Stephens, Jim was a financial advisor and Vice President at A. G. Edwards & Sons, Inc. for 12 years, before it become a part of Wells Fargo Advisor. Throughout his career, he also worked for a few other firms including B. J. Compton & Son, Inc. He is a graduate of Stephens University, an advanced wealth management program offered through Wake Forest University.
