We provide investment banking, research, sales and trading, asset and wealth management, public finance, insurance, private capital, and family office services.
We are a family-owned financial services firm that values client relationships, long-term stability, and supporting the communities where we live and work.
The idea of family defines our culture, because each of us knows that our reputation is on the line as if our own name was on the door.
Our reputation as a leading independent financial services firm is built on the stability of our longstanding and highly experienced senior executives.
We are committed to corporate philanthropy; economic and financial literacy advocacy; and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
Stephens is proud to sponsor the PGA TOUR, LPGA Tour, and PGA TOUR Champions careers, as well as applaud the philanthropic endeavors, of our Brand Ambassadors.
We host many highly informative meetings each year with clients, industry decision makers, and thought leaders across the U.S. and in Europe.
A relationship with Steve begins with a conversation about the client’s investment goals and aspirations. “I want to understand their life situation and risk tolerance for investing and what gives them peace of mind. Only then can we begin to build an investment plan and make recommendations based on that client’s specific needs,” explains Steve. “The relationship begins to take shape over time as we monitor our plan and adapt as necessary to stay on course with our client’s goals. Our ability to thoughtfully respond to market and life events makes us a valued partner to our clients.”
Brandi Patrick is Steve’s registered sales assistant. She has been with Stephens almost 20 years and helps clients with matters regarding account administration.
Steve has been in the financial services industry for over 25 years. Prior to joining Stephens in 1999, Steve was a financial advisor for five years at A. G. Edwards & Sons, Inc. before it was ultimately acquired by Wells Fargo Advisors, Inc.
Steve attended Louisiana State University and the University of Arkansas. He is also a 2006 graduate of Stephens University at Wake Forest University.
Steve and his wife, Sheila, have three adult children and six grandchildren. Steve enjoys spending time with his family, particularly his grandchildren, and hiking, playing golf, and reading.
