Mr. Garcia joined Stephens’ Texas (Dallas) office as Senior Vice President in 2020 to lead the firm’s efforts with the Texas Independent School District and general Texas municipal market. He began his career at Citi covering issuers in the Southeast and Southwest regions. Mr. Garcia has previous experience working for Citi, RBC Capital Markets, Piper Sandler, Oppenheimer and Aegis working in each firm’s municipal finance department. Throughout his career, Mr. Garcia has worked with municipal issuers of all types and sizes in helping to raise funds through debt offerings. He has been involved in structuring and financing hundreds of projects across the Country. Over his career, Mr. Garcia has worked on over 300 financings for more than $10 billion in par amount for municipal issuers. Mr. Garcia graduated from Harvard University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. Brian played 4 years of football for the Crimson, helping the team go undefeated during the 2001 season on its way to an Ivy League title. Brian currently holds Series 52 and 63 licenses.
