Bill Johnston joined Stephens in 2012 and has thirty years of experience serving a broad base of public finance clients throughout Georgia and the Southeast.
Mr. Johnston has served as Senior Managing Underwriter or Municipal Advisor for numerous Georgia issuers. Mr. Johnston earned a Master of Accountancy degree from the J.M. Tull School of Accounting at the University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Science degree from Presbyterian College. Mr. Johnston is a Certified Public Accountant and practiced in that field for eight years. He is a licensed Municipal Securities Principal and Municipal Advisor Principal. He serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Young Harris College.
