The Stephens Investment Banking Analyst Program is one-of-a-kind in the financial services industry. Our two-year, generalist program offers analysts the best opportunity to learn and prepare for a rewarding career in finance, while making significant contributions to our team.
The program starts with four weeks of intensive training taught by Stephens investment bankers who have gone through the process, and evolves into comprehensive on-the-job experience as analysts assist industry and product teams in advising clients. Our streamlined teams and organizational structure enable analysts to conduct meaningful work on live deals. Numerous former analysts have become senior team members in Investment Banking and other lines of business at Stephens.
During the program, you will have the chance to work on deal structure, financial analysis and modeling, the due diligence process, presentations, client communications and more. Instead of being assigned to a single industry group, analysts work across multiple sectors and services. They take on additional responsibilities based on their individual skill sets; an exceptional second-year analyst can receive work that corresponds to the associate level.
The Analyst Program is the embodiment of Stephen’s commitment to developing young talent. The mentorship I received across levels of seniority created a launchpad for me to grow both professionally and personally after graduating.
The Stephens Analyst Program is the best place to begin your career. The hands-on nature of the Analyst Program, paired with the collaborative culture of the Firm, offers an unmatched opportunity to rapidly expand your skillset.
Our opportunities span a variety of our US and EU locations. When you start your application process, you will be able to select your geographic preferences based on the available openings during that recruiting cycle. As Stephens focuses on long-term hires, please carefully consider which geographic location makes the most sense for you when you apply.
We have a superb track record of adding value for small and middle-market companies, as well as global organizations, across all major sectors and with deep expertise on the subsector level. Our transatlantic team, of more than 250 investment banking professionals, has a collaborative approach to addressing the M&A and capital needs of clients, and as an Analyst at Stephens you will play a substantial and critical role.
