Nikolai D. Fisken

Nik joined Stephens Inc. in 1994 as an Associate in the Stephens Research Department in the Insurance space. In 2007, he was named Director of Research, during which time he grew the firm’s equities research team to roughly 30 analysts covering more than 500 companies. In 2016, Nik advanced to lead a newly organized Institutional Equity Sales and Research group, and continues to grow Stephens’ distribution with sales, trading and research offices strategically located across the country.

As an analyst, Nik received the Wall Street Journal All-Star Analyst distinction numerous times and was voted by investment professionals as a “Best Up-and-Comer” in the Institutional Investor All-Star Survey where he also ranked among the industry’s best equity analysts for the quality of his insurance and fintech research.

Nik has a B.A. in economics from Denison University and earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 1997. He also serves on the Board of the American Red Cross of Arkansas.
