Cindy Burns, CIC

Cindy Burns joined Stephens Insurance in 2012, through the acquisition of Hoffman-Henry Insurance, and currently serves as a Senior Account Manager in the Property & Casualty division. She provides risk management services on large commercial accounts in diverse sectors such as manufacturing, private higher education, agriculture, and finance. She also gathers exposure information from insureds, creates applications to send to carriers, obtains and compares quotes, prepares proposals and presents to insureds, bind coverage, invoice policies and check issued policies to send to insureds. She assists in leading Stephens employees to participate in internal educational program consisting of online courses and weekly study groups to increase insurance knowledge and obtain designations.

Prior to Stephens, Burns worked as an account manager for Hoffman-Henry Insurance for 12 years, reviewing optional agency management systems, helping in selecting the option which worked best with our book of business, and assisting in new employee onboarding and training.

Burns attended the University of Arkansas in Little Rock with an emphasis in Accounting and currently holds Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designations.
