Assistant Vice President, L&H Senior Account Executive
Adam Shivers joined Stephens Insurance in 2024 as an Assistant Vice President and Senior Account Executive in the Life & Health division. In this role, he manages client service needs on a daily basis, which includes onboarding new clients, handling the renewal process, providing financial reviews, and coordinating the annual open enrollment process, among many other duties. He works closely with clients throughout the year seeking to fully understand their needs and assisting in formulating and enacting strategies for their benefit plans.
Shivers brings 29 years of experience in the Life & Health benefits industry. He began his career on the carrier side of the business as a sales representative, selling Life, Disability, Dental, Vision, Stop Loss, and other ancillary benefits for various carriers. After spending 12 years on the carrier side, he transitioned to the brokerage side, where he primarily managed accounts from a service perspective. He worked 17 years for the same organization, managing accounts and running account management operations for the Houston office.
Shivers earned a degree in Financial Planning from Texas Tech University. He is licensed in Life & Health.
