Jonathan Plumhoff joined Stephens Insurance in January 2017 as Executive Vice President and Practice Leader for the Houston Employee Benefits group. Plumhoff has been a practicing benefit’s consultant for over 19 years for clients ranging in size from 50 employees to over 20,000 world-wide. He works with clients across many industries, both private and public, on all facets of their employee benefits programs. He brings a strong analytic background with a focus on helping employers develop and manage programs that effectively bring down cost trends with sustainable solutions.
Plumhoff started his career in 2005 with Plumhoff & Associates, one of the leading health and welfare consulting firms in Houston. He served as the lead consultant for a large book of clients both domestic and international. Plumhoff & Associates sold to a large national brokerage firm in 2011, where he has served in a similar capacity until joining Stephens Insurance.
Plumhoff received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas with a minor in Spanish.
