Mark Alvarez

Mark Alvarez joined Stephens Insurance in 2021 and is a Senior Vice President and Cyber Risk Specialist in the Property & Casualty division. In his current role, he helps lead the Stephens Cyber Practice Group. He is an advisor to clients on cyber insurance and cybersecurity risk management and provides best-in-class cyber insurance and other creative risk transfer solutions, analytics, underwriting preparation, and claims management expertise to clients.

Alvarez has over 12 years of insurance industry experience. Prior to Stephens, he served as a Cyber and Technology E&O underwriter for two national insurance companies and offered cyber, E&O, and management liability expertise at a large national brokerage.

Alvarez holds a Cyber COPE Insurance Certification (CCIC) from Carnegie Mellon University – Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy. He is a member of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society.
