Morgan Moore joined Stephens Insurance in 2015 as Senior Vice President where she, alongside Stuart Wallace, work as a team in Houston for Stephens Energy Division. Having entered the insurance industry in 2005, she brings a wealth of energy-related insurance experience to the Stephens Energy team. Moore’s primary role is to oversee and manage comprehensive energy-related insurance programs. Her area of expertise is the design of creative program structures and negotiating the most favorable terms/conditions for her clients. She has experience in placing both domestic and international energy-related risks in the Exploration & Production (both on/offshore), Service Contractors, Midstream and Manufacturers & Distributors sectors.
Prior to joining Stephens, Moore worked as an Area Vice President in the Energy Practice Group at Arthur J. Gallagher where she successfully managed a complex book of business. She has extensive experience with various program structures including Guarantee Cost, Deductible, Self-Insured Retentions and Captive Insurance programs. Earlier, she was a National Accounts Underwriter for American International Group (AIG) Global Marine & Energy, Primary Casualty division in both the Manhattan and Houston offices. Morgan was responsible for the underwriting of major international energy risks both offshore and onshore.
Moore is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and was awarded as one of the 2013 “40 Under 40 Regional Broker Leaders” by Business Insurance Magazine. She also successfully completed Harvard Business School’s Breakthrough Leadership Program, a blended, cohort-based program that helps organizations transform midlevel managers into more effective leaders.
Moore graduated from Southern Methodist University in 2005 where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising. Morgan is very active in the Houston community and serves as an active member of The Junior League of Houston as well as VICTORY, a branch of the American Cancer Society.
