Pete Edgmon

Pete Edgmon is an Underwriting Consultant for the Life & Health division of Stephens Insurance. As such, he supports the company through analysis of employer benefits, including pricing projections, claims, and conceptual business review.

Prior to joining Stephens, Edgmon led a team of underwriters and business analysts that supported employer benefits consulting in multiple sales markets, such as health and benefits pricing projections, claims/cost reporting and analysis, funding alternatives modeling, and competitive pricing analysis. He worked collaboratively across departmental borders to cultivate information for problem-solving and provided for inbound requests, and he also created a commercial group data reporting mechanism for renewal underwriting and specific expense type reporting for high membership group renewals such as Methodist Health Care System and Houston Independent School District.

Edgmon earned an MBA from Sam Houston State University and a BBA from Abilene Christian University. He is a licensed General Lines Agent in Life, Accident, Health, and HMO.
