Stacy Pettis joined Stephens Insurance in 2020 and serves as a Senior Vice President and Advisor in the Property & Casualty division. She plays a leading role in the placement and management of large commercial risks, with a particular focus on complex property programs.
With over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, Pettis has developed a deep understanding of risk management strategies tailored to the needs of large-scale commercial clients. Her background includes extensive expertise in structuring and negotiating large property placements, self-insured retentions, captive programs, and risk retention groups. Known for her attention to policy detail and customized program design, she delivers tailored solutions for clients across diverse industry sectors.
Prior to joining Stephens, Pettis served as Chief Operating Officer at a boutique insurance firm in Houston, where she oversaw a multifaceted book of business spanning multiple industries. Her previous experience also included a role at USI Insurance Services in the Healthcare Division, further broadening her technical and leadership acumen.
Pettis was nominated for the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas Account Manager of the Year award in 2019 and has earned multiple accolades over her career. She holds a Texas Property and Casualty license and is currently pursuing the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.
