Sylmar Lemus joined Stephens Insurance in 2024 as an Account Manager in the Life & Health division. In this role, he oversees client accounts by facilitating training, enhancing communication, and addressing general benefit inquiries related to Life & Health benefit plans. Additionally, he supports clients by resolving claims issues, handling billing and eligibility inquiries, and providing benefit support for various Life & Health plans, including enrollment, training, and implementation.
Lemus brings over 11 years of experience in health care and employer-provided benefits. Prior to Stephens, he spent a decade in leadership roles at Walmart Inc., managing employee benefits and supporting health care clinic initiatives, with a focus on enrollment, implementation, benefit inquiries, contracting, and process improvement.
