Commercial P&C Insurance Licensing Assistant
Vanessa Newell is an Insurance Licensing Assistant in the Property & Casualty division of Stephens Insurance. In her position, she renews resident agent, producer, and adjuster insurance licenses in Little Rock and branch offices. She is responsible for setting up pre-licensing course for new agents and process new license applications and orders and manages continued education for licensed agents, tracking course designations. She also processes NAIC changes and updates pertaining to licensing in the Stephens agency licensing system.
Newell began at Stephens as a customer service representative, in which she ran reports, reviewed policies, and issued certificates of insurance. Prior to joining Stephens, she worked as an account manager for a work comp broker that included renewing of work comp policies, audits, and corresponding with agents.
Newell is designated as both a Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) and a Certified Professional Service Representative (CPSR).
