Philosophy & Approach
Brian joined Stephens Private Client Group in 2010. I bring a congenial and thoughtful approach to clients’ wealth management needs. I am positioned to address the diverse investment concerns and aspirations of clients of all ages. “My mission is to help clients accomplish their financial goals while always operating within the boundaries of their individual risk tolerances. Whether it is purchasing a new or second home, providing for education, or preparing for retirement, I am counseling them along the way with their best interests in mind,” says Brian.
Becky Langley, with 30 years of administrative experience, is Brian’s sales assistant.
Experience & Education
Brian has been in the industry for over 20 years. Prior to joining Stephens, he was a Vice President and financial advisor at Smith Barney, later to become a part of Morgan Stanley.
Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Texas. He is a graduate of Stephens University, an advanced wealth-management program at Wake Forest University.
Personal
Brian and his wife, Catharine, live in Sumter, South Carolina with their two sons, Wilson and Jennings. Brian is active in his community and serves on the board member of the University of South Carolina Board of Visitors. He also serves as clerk of session in his church.
