Throughout his career, he has prided himself on working closely with clients in order to help grow and protect their portfolios. Over the past decade, how and when we retire has changed, but the fundamentals of retiring remain.”
Vanessa Etheridge, a registered sales assistant since 2008 with over 15 years of administrative experience, supports Cage and works with clients to meet their needs.
Prior to joining Stephens, Cage was a financial advisor and Vice President at Wachovia Securities and its successor Wells Fargo Advisors, Inc., J. C. Bradford & Co., before it ultimately became a part of UBS Financial Services Inc. and Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith, Inc. Cage received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Mississippi in 1980.
He is a Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM (CRPC®). This designation from the College for Financial Planning signifies that Cage has met initial and on-going experience, ethical education, and examination requirements for the retirement planning process, including meeting multiple financial objectives, sources of retirement income, personal savings, employer-sponsored retirement plans, income taxes, retirement cash flow, asset management, estate planning, and more.
Cage served as an officer in the U. S. Navy for seven years on active duty, three of which were as a Division Officer aboard the USS Arkansas (CGN-41), followed by two years in the Naval Reserves. Cage has served on the Board of the United States Navy League’s Memphis Council for over 20 years.
