Philosophy & Approach

Don joined Stephens Private Client Group in 2018 with his junior partner, Michael Glaser. With more than 35 years of experience he brings sound, practiced counsel to every client relationship. “As trusted financial consultants, it is imperative that we provide strategies that make sense for our clients in both the short and long terms,” says Don. “To do this, it is important that we work together and are kept abreast of any major life events that may alter their financial goals.”

Don is supported by Roxanne Spencer, a registered client associate with more than 18 years of administrative experience.

Experience & Education

Prior to joining Stephens, Don was a Managing Director and financial advisor at A. G. Edwards & Sons, Inc. and its successor, Wells Fargo Advisors, Inc. Don received a Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Economics from Bradley University in Peoria.

Personal

Don currently serves on the advisory board of Facing History & Ourselves, an organization empowering teachers and students to think critically about history.

Don and his wife, Shelley, have three children, Anna, Joseph, and Sophie. Don enjoys traveling, biking, reading, and cooking.
