Senior Vice President
Edgar Morris joined Stephens in 2012 as a Senior Vice President. According to Edgar, “My focus has always been on guiding clients through various financial decisions in order for them to achieve all of their goals. As consultants, it is of the upmost importance that we not only take immediate needs into account when developing a wealth management plan but also what a client’s needs may be tomorrow.”
Maria Alexander, a registered client associate, supports Edgar and helps clients on a daily basis with administrative requests and questions.
Prior to Stephens, Edgar was a Vice President and financial advisor at Smith Barney, later to become a part of Morgan Stanley. He received a Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of Georgia and is a graduate of Stephens University at Wake Forest University.
Edgar is a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®). The certification from the CFP® board includes insurance planning and risk management, employee benefits planning, investment planning, income tax planning, retirement planning, and estate planning.
Edgar and his wife, Nicole, and their two children live in Columbia.
