Philosophy & Approach

Gary has been a member of Stephens Private Client Group since 2012 and has more than 25 years of industry experience. “As a trusted consultant, it is imperative to listen, learn what my clients really need, and do everything possible to help them accomplish those financial objectives over the long term. My goal for my clients is to prepare them for retirement by having the income and assets to fund their golden years without having to worry about their lifestyle,” says Gary.

Experience & Education

Prior to joining Stephens, Gary was a financial advisor and Vice President at First Union Capital Markets Corp. and its successor, Wells Fargo Advisors, Inc. Gary attended Guilford Technical College and is also a graduate of Stephens’ advanced wealth management program, Stephens University, offered through Wake Forest University.

Gary is passionate about the investment business and uses his years of experience as a member of the finance committee of his church. He is also on the leadership committee for the Triad Corvette Club. He also volunteers with the Boy Scouts of America, serving as a personal management Merit Badge Counselor.

Gary and his wife, Debra, have three children, Tyler, Austin, and Spencer. When he is away from the office, he enjoys basketball, golf, and playing the guitar.
