With more than five years of experience, Gus is a financial consultant in The Blagg Group, where he works with the team’s senior partner and Hot Springs Branch Manager Rick Blagg on helping clients define, set, and achieve their financial goals. Brandi Patrick is Gus’s registered client associate. She has been with Stephens almost 20 years and helps clients with matters regarding account administration.
Gus began his wealth management career in Stephens Private Client Group’s three-year analyst program in 2015. This comprehensive program prepared him in the development of investment plans and strategies and for consulting with clients.
He graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2015 with two degrees. He received two Bachelors of Business of Administration, one in General Management and one in International Business, with minors in Finance & Spanish. Gus was a member of the UALR Trojan basketball team from 2010-2015.
Gus is also is a Certified Financial PlannerTM Professional (CFP®). The certification from the CFP® board includes insurance planning and risk management, employee benefits planning, investment planning, retirement planning, and estate planning.
Gus serves on the UA Little Rock Athletic Department Letterman’s Board. He enjoys UA Little Rock sporting events and playing in recreational basketball leagues. Gus and his wife, Danielle, spend their free time with their children, Lilly and Jaxon, family and friends boating on Lake Ouachita and playing with their dog, Xena.
