Heather Vangilder, CRPS®

Philosophy & Approach

With more than a decade of experience, Heather works diligently to help clients understand their investment and retirement plans. Her dedicated personal service and passion instill confidence in her clients. Heather joins the father and son team of John Gay and John Gay Jr., CPA, as a junior partner.

Experience & Education

Before joining Stephens, Heather worked at two different investment management firms. She graduated from Lyon College with a Bachelor of Science in Finance Administration.

Heather is a Chartered Retirement Planning Specialist (CRPS®). This designation from the College for Financial Planning signifies that Heather has met initial and ongoing experience, ethical education, and examination requirements for the retirement planning process, including meeting multiple financial objectives, sources of retirement income, personal savings, employer-sponsored retirement plans, retirement cash flow, asset management, estate planning, and more.

Personal

Heather is dedicated to giving back to her community. She has previously served on the Jonesboro Chapter of the National Association of Junior Auxiliary and the Salvation Army. Heather currently volunteers her time for the United Way of Northeast Arkansas. She is a busy mom who spends her free time transporting her daughters to all of their extracurricular activities, being a zookeeper for their multiple domesticated pets and enjoys squeezing in a concert every now and then.
