Jason, alongside his associate Duval Farnsworth, is dedicated to providing exceptional service to clients by understanding their unique circumstances and developing a comprehensive, customized financial plan tailored to their needs. A central element of Jason’s approach is fostering personal relationships with clients, allowing him to gain a deeper understanding of their goals and aspirations. As Jason explains, “My goal is to be a trusted advisor, offering sound financial advice and support to clients through both the highs and lows of markets and life.”

Jason is supported by Kathy Briner, a Registered Client Associate with more than 40 years of experience, whose dedication to outstanding client service and operational efficiency is integral to the success of the team.

Experience & Education

With nearly three decades of experience in the financial services industry, Jason has guided clients in all areas of wealth management. In 2023, Jason joined Stephens in their Private Client Group, splitting his time between the Memphis and Nashville offices. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from the University of Alabama.

Jason is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, a certification awarded by the CFP Board. This certification encompasses areas such as financial planning, tax planning, estate planning, income and retirement planning, and investment management.

Personal

A native of Memphis, Jason has been involved in his local community, previously serving as Finance Committee Chair for both the Memphis Cook Convention Center and Girl Scouts of the Mid-South, as well as President of the Memphis University School Alumni Board of Directors.

Jason and his wife, Meredith, have three children: Judson, Brooke, and Hunter. In his free time, Jason enjoys golfing, playing pickleball, and spending time at his family’s lake house in Heber Springs, Arkansas. He is also an accomplished musician, playing the drums and guitar and singing with his band.
