John has been in the industry for more than 20 years. One of John and his son and junior partner, John Jr.’s, top objectives is to understand clients’ aspirations for themselves, their family or their business. “I take great pride in the fact that clients are entrusting us to look after the assets that are meaningful to their financial futures. Whether clients want to plan for retirement, college, or an estate, it is our goal to successfully guide them to their long-term objectives,” says John.

John has been a member of the Stephens Private Client since 2008. Prior to joining Stephens as a Vice President, John was a financial advisor at A. G. Edwards & Sons, Inc., later to become part of Wells Fargo Advisors, Inc. John has received the Stephens Leadership Circle award every year since 2015 in recognition for excellence in wealth management.
John is a 1988 graduate of Arkansas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education. In 2008, he earned his MBA with honors in Military Management from the United States Army Command and General Staff College and Touro University. He also completed Stephens’ advanced wealth management program, Stephens University, offered through Wake Forest University in 2011.
John enjoys hiking, fishing, archery, hunting, and traveling. He is a native of Jonesboro, where he remains today with his wife, Leslie. They have four children, Heather, Zach, John, and Matthew.
