Michael joined Stephens Private Client Group in 2014, along with his father, Mike, who is based in Stephens Shreveport, Louisiana office. As partners and family, they bring a cross-generational and innately personal perspective to investment planning. “Throughout my career of over 20 years, my focus has always been on helping clients to understand how to plan for the future without feeling like they are making financial or lifestyle sacrifices in the present. It’s important to us that they are active participants when we make recommendations about portfolio construction, asset allocation, and other aspects of wealth management,” says Michael. He and his father work together to present financial guidance that will not only help clients reach immediate goals but will be meaningful for generations.
Prior to joining Stephens, Michael was a financial advisor and Vice President at Legg Mason Wood Walker Inc., and its ultimate successor Morgan Stanley.
Michael received a Bachelor of Arts from Louisiana Tech University. He has also completed Stephens’ advanced wealth management program, Stephens University, at Wake Forest University.
Michael and his wife, Stacy, live in Houston with their three children.
