Philosophy & Approach

Since joining Stephens Private Client Group in 2014, Phillip has focused his practice on understanding each client's complete financial picture, giving careful consideration to their goals, risk tolerance, and personal motivations. He believes effective wealth management begins with building strong relationships and maintaining open communication throughout every stage of a client's financial journey.

As Phillip explains, “This is an interesting time for financial consultants as multiple generations are seeking guidance for their varied investment needs. In each client relationship, accessibility is key. I take pride in working closely with clients to assist them in reaching their financial aspirations and providing sound advice on a multitude of decisions that directly impact their futures.”

Phillip and his team, including Jim Mitchell, Conrad Lax, and Max Eichler, take a collaborative approach to wealth management. Drawing on a breadth of experience and perspectives, the team provides thoughtful guidance and personalized service to help clients navigate their evolving financial needs and long-term objectives.

Supporting Phillip and the team is Railey Self, a client associate that plays an important role in delivering attentive, personalized service and fostering strong client relationships that are central to the team's practice.

Experience & Education

Phillip earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a minor in Accounting from Arkansas State University in 2012, where he served as a captain of the university's football team. He later earned a Master of Business Administration from Arkansas State University.

Phillip is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. The CFP® certification reflects comprehensive training in financial planning, retirement planning, investment management, tax planning, and estate planning.

Personal

An Arkansas native, Phillip is a member of the Arkansas State University System Foundation Board and is an avid supporter of Arkansas State athletics. He is also involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arkansas as a volunteer.
