Preston received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Master of Science in Management from Wake Forest University. Prior to joining Stephens, he was with BB&T Wealth Management as a private advisor.
He is also a Certified Financial PlannerTM Professional (CFP®). The certification from the CFP® Board includes insurance planning and risk management, employee benefits planning, investment planning, retirement planning, and estate planning.
Preston and his wife, Amy, live in Winston-Salem with their son, Charles, and daughter, Mary Champe. As a Wake Forest graduate, Preston is an avid Demon Deacon fan and enjoys attending their football and basketball games with his family and friends. He previously served as the co-chair of the Kaleideum Kaleidoscope Ball and is now a board member of Kaleideum and the SECU Family House. When he is not spending time with his family, he also enjoys playing golf and coaching youth sports.
