Preston joined Stephens Private Client Group in 2017 to work with Richard Rogers. He has been a trusted financial consultant for more than five years. Preston says, “Richard and I approach clients’ investments as if they are our own and work together to guide clients through life’s inevitable changes and challenges. We see a distinct advantage in bringing additional experience and a point of view in order to enhance the entire client experience and look toward the future.”
Anne Thornton, a registered client associate with more than 15 years of experience, supports Preston.
Preston received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Master of Science in Management from Wake Forest University. Prior to joining Stephens, he was with BB&T Wealth Management as a private advisor.
He is also a Certified Financial PlannerTM (CFP®). The certification from the CFP® Board includes insurance planning and risk management, employee benefits planning, investment planning, retirement planning, and estate planning.
Preston and his wife, Amy, live in Winston-Salem with their son, Charles, and daughter, Mary Champe. As a Wake Forest graduate, Preston is an avid Demon Deacon fan and enjoys attending their football and basketball games with his family and friends. He previously served as the co-chair of the Kaleideum Kaleidoscope Ball and is now a board member of Kaleideum and the SECU Family House. When he is not spending time with his family, he also enjoys playing golf and coaching youth sports.
