Philosophy & Approach

Rick serves as a Financial Consultant in the Winston-Salem office. He works alongside his father, Richard Rogers, CPM®, as well as Preston Yates, CFP®. Working with Richard and Preston, Rick strives for a deeper partnership with clients based on trust in a shared process, alignment on goals and a long-term approach towards the relationship.

Rick says, “My mission is to go beyond allocating capital, and develop a strategy to help clients achieve financial success despite an ever-changing set of circumstances. I hope that by having a clear financial plan and a diligence-intensive investment approach, we can help clients meet their financial goals.”

Experience & Education

Prior to joining Stephens, Rick advised clients on growth strategy, sales operations, and private equity due diligence at Bain and Company, a global management consulting firm, where he started his career in 2014. Rick’s previous experience also includes working in private equity and as an operations leader for a fitness technology startup. He earned a Masters of Business Administration with honors from Columbia Business School, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science magna cum laude from Vanderbilt University.

A native of Winston-Salem, Rick enjoys playing competitive golf, following Formula One racing and spending time with his wife, Emily, and puppy, Freddy.
