Wick has been in the industry for more than 25 years and joined Stephens Private Client Group in 2001. Prior to joining Stephens, Wick was at Shearson Lehman Brothers, Inc., before it ultimately became a part of Morgan Stanley, and Morgan Keegan & Company, Inc., before it merged with Raymond James & Associates, Inc.
Wick received a Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin in 1989. He completed Stephens’ advanced wealth management program, Stephens University, offered through Wake Forest University, in 2006.
Wick is also an Accredited Wealth Management AdvisorSM(AWMA®). This professional designation signifies that Wick has met initial and on-going experience, ethical education, and examination requirements encompassing wealth strategies, equity-based compensation plans, and asset protection alternatives.
As an active member of the Austin community, Wick currently serves on the board and finance committee of the Headliners Club, Treasurer and Chairman of the finance committee of his church, and serves on the national board and investment committee of Board of Pensions of the Presbyterian Church, overseeing $12+ billion in investments. He previously served on the board and as President of West Austin Youth Association, as well as board member and former Chairman of the investment committee at the University of Texas Alumni Association. Wick and his wife, Kristin, have three children, Mills, Walt and Markley.
