Wick has been in the industry for over 25 years and joined Stephens Private Client Group in 2001. While at Stephens, Wick has received the Stephens Leadership Circle award nine times in recognition for excellence in wealth management. Sally Zepponi, a registered sales assistant, is an integral part of Wick’s team and brings more than 30 years of administrative experience.
Prior to joining Stephens, Wick was at Shearson Lehman Brothers, Inc., before it ultimately became a part of Morgan Stanley, and Morgan Keegan & Company, Inc., before it merged with Raymond James & Associates, Inc.
Wick received a Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin in 1989. He completed Stephens’ advanced wealth management program, Stephens University, offered through Wake Forest University, in 2006.
Wick is also an Accredited Wealth Management AdvisorSM(AWMA®). This professional designation signifies that Wick has met initial and on-going experience, ethical education, and examination requirements encompassing wealth strategies, equity-based compensation plans, and asset protection alternatives.
As an active member of the Austin community, Wick currently serves on the board and as Chairman of the investment committee of the University of Texas Alumni Association, the board of Longhorn Village, Chairman of the finance committee of his church, and serves on the national board of Board of Pensions of the Presbyterian Church. He previously served on the board and as President of West Austin Youth Association. Wick and his wife, Kristin, have three children, Mills, Walt, and Markley.
