Mr. Brister graduated from the University of Mississippi with a B.B.A in Managerial Finance. He began his career in the financial services industry in 2000 and joined Stephens Capital Management in 2006. Currently, Mr. Brister advises and allocates capital on behalf of defined benefit/contribution plans, foundations/endowments, municipalities, corporations, and family office structures. Along with managing client portfolios, Mr. Brister serves as a member of the Investment Committee for StephensChoice and co-portfolio manager for Stephens Fixed Income Strategy.
Prior to joining Stephens Inc., Mr. Brister was a trader within Fixed Income Capital Markets for Morgan Keegan & Co in Memphis, TN where he was responsible for trading various products over his tenure including U.S. governments/agencies, preferreds, commercial paper, and corporate debt securities.
Mr. Brister is a FINRA Registered Representative (Series 7 & 63), a Limited Representative-Equity Trader (Series 55), and a Registered Investment Advisor Representative (“Series 65”).
