Managing Director
Mr. Farinholt currently serves as Managing Director and Co-Head of the firm’s Specialty Finance Group. During his time at Stephens, Mr. Farinholt has closed over 200 transactions amounting to approximately $40 billion in transaction value on behalf of commercial finance, consumer finance and financial technology clients both in North America and in Europe. Prior to joining Stephens, Mr. Farinholt worked for both J.P. Morgan and Thomas Weisel Partners in their San Francisco offices where he advised digital media and technology clients on M&A transactions. Prior to moving to California, Mr. Farinholt worked in the equity capital markets group at Robinson-Humphrey in Atlanta helping clients access the public equity markets. Mr. Farinholt serves on the board of directors of WT Holdings and Stillwater Insurance Group. Mr. Farinholt received his BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia with a concentration in finance and his MBA from the Darden Business School at the University of Virginia. Mr. Farinholt currently lives in London with his wife and two daughters.
