Mr. North joined Stephens in 2008. He is a member of the Stephens Mergers & Acquisitions Group. Prior to joining Stephens, he was a Managing Director at Bluffview Capital, LP and at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (formerly known as Wasserstein Perella). While at Bluffview and DrKW, Mr. North covered companies in the industrial, technology, energy, media and consumer products sectors, among others, and was responsible for a wide variety of strategic and financing transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, public and private equity, public and private debt and restructurings. Prior to joining DrKW, he was a Senior Corporate Partner at Baker & Botts LLP, where he practiced law in that firm’s Houston and Dallas offices for 19 years. Mr. North received his BA in english from Princeton University in 1974 and his JD from Harvard Law School in 1978.
