Executive Vice President, Head of Investment Banking
Mr. Marks serves as the Head of Investment Banking at Stephens Inc., leading the team of over 250 investment bankers across 9 offices in the US and Europe. He joined Stephens in July 2002, and from 2002 through 2014, worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group executing a variety of transactions for private owners, public boards and management teams including buy side and sell side advisory, strategic alternatives, and valuation events. From 2014 through 2023, he co-founded and led the firm’s dealership practice focusing on transaction advisory work across the dealership sector including auto, truck, recreational vehicle, boat, agriculture and equipment dealerships, vehicle auctions and other related product and technology vendors.
During his career, he has executed over 70 transactions representing over 390 dealerships with a combined value greater than $22 billion. He also serves on the board of Vanguard Truck Centers, a Class 8 truck dealership group owned by Stephens Capital Partners. Mr. Marks earned a BS degree in business administration and accounting from Washington and Lee University.
