Nate Mittag is a Managing Director in the Financial Institutions Group at Stephens where he advises financial service companies on strategic matters, including mergers and acquisitions as well as capital markets transactions. Prior to joining Stephens in 2021, Mr. Mittag was a Director in the Financial Services Group at Piper Sandler (previously Sandler O’Neill) primarily advising depository institutions in the Northeast, Midwest and Southeast. Prior to joining Sandler O’Neill in 2014, Mr. Mittag was a Vice President for Keefe, Bruyette & Woods in their investment banking group working with depositories across the United States on strategic advisory assignments including M&A and capital raising. During his career, Mr. Mittag has advised on over 60 mergers and capital raise transactions.
Mr. Mittag graduated cum laude from Bucknell University in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in economics. He played varsity baseball at Bucknell and played professionally overseas.
