Peter Shin

Peter Shin is a Managing Director within Stephens’ Technology Group and is based in the London office.

He has more than 16 years of technology investment banking experience. His transaction experience covers key strategic themes across vertical software, e-commerce / payments technologies and the smart mobility / city ecosystem. He has extensive experience across both mid-cap and large-cap technology transactions in Europe and the Nordics.

Select transactions include advising Curve on its sale to Lloyds Banking Group; Shoptet on its sale to team.blue; Orderyoyo on its public takeover by Pollen Street Capital; Livingbridge on its acquisition of Agena Group; Kerridge on its sale to Capvest; Pollen Street Capital on its acquisition of Assessio; Annata on its sale to Vex; ICEpower on its sale to Crestline Investors; Lunar on its Series D capital raise led by Heartland, Kinnevik and Tencent; Elparking and Imbric on their sale to Mutua Madrileña; EYSA on its sale to HIG Infrastructure; Profit Software on its sale to Volpi Capital; and EasyPark on its majority recapitalisation by Vitruvian Partners and Verdane.

Prior to joining Stephens, Peter was a Managing Director and senior member of the software and industrial technologies practice groups within Stifel’s Global Technology Group, having joined Stifel in 2019 through its acquisition of Mooreland Partners. Prior to Mooreland Partners, Peter worked in the TMT investment banking teams at Nomura and Piper Sandler.

Peter holds a BSc Honours degree in Computer Science from University College London.
