- On September 2, 2016, ABF Logistics, a subsidiary of ArcBest Corporation (“ArcBest” or the “Company”) announced the completion of the acquisition of Logistics & Distribution Services, LLC (“LDS”), in a transaction valued at $25.0 million
- The acquisition of LDS complements ABF Logistics by adding to its existing services, specifically in deploying dedicated capacity, which will increase the breadth of available solutions to its customers
- This acquisition is the third for ABF Logistics since its formation in 2013, after acquiring Bear Transportation Services in December 2015 and Smart Lines Transportation Group in January 2015
- Stephens Inc. served as the Company’s exclusive financial advisor in the acquisition of LDS
