Transaction Details
- On November 17, 2023, GENUI GmbH (“GENUI”), announced the completed investment in KGS Software GmbH (“kgs”). GENUI acquired a majority stake from Maxburg Capital Partners GmbH (“Maxburg”). Maxburg will continue its involvement via a co-investment.
- Following the transaction’s completion, Cancom founder Klaus Weinmann will become Chairman of the Board at kgs. Bernd-Michael Rumpf, formerly responsible for the Enterprise side at SAP, will complement the board.
- The existing management team will continue steering and advancing kgs’ future development.
