- On April 13, 2017, Windstream Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: WIN) announced a definitive agreement to acquire Broadview Networks (OTCPK: BVWN), a leading provider of cloud-based unified communications and information technology solutions to small and medium-sized businesses, in an all-cash transaction
- Through the transaction, Windstream expects to realize approximately $30 million in annual operating synergies within two years and improve its balance sheet by reducing leverage through the realization of synergies
- Stephens Inc. served as financial advisor to Windstream
- The transaction is expected to close during the third quarter of 2017 and is subject to customary closing conditions
